A small group of users may be controlling parts of Digg
8/1/2006
I just submitted a VERY accurate story to Digg critiquing their promotion system, and how it may be being manipulated by a small group of right-wing users.
The story was up to 138 diggs in 4 hours, which would put the article on the front page without question, except, a small group of unknown users has
marked the story as "lame" which buried it.
here is the email I got when I brought it to Diggs attention. 8/1/06 7:48pm
"We understand, but that's just the reality of a 100% democratic
website. Sometimes good stories get buried and bad stories get
promoted." - Digg support
I have not received a reply from Digg. I will keep you posted.
